- No, The Armata tank will NOT rule future battlefields, even with the aid of multiple drones. I see that the Armata will be able to pass information on to other units, like the artillery, (even air force?) but then it is the artillery which dominates the battlefield, the Armata is just a fancy pancy scout car.

It is also very controversial whether an exclusively digital transmission to the command room can prove itself

- You dont want to be a soldier standing next to an active protection system when it activates, quite a few israeli soldiers have been killed by APS shrapnel blast when standing next to a tank being shot by a shoulder launched missile or APS misidentifying a projectile such as a rock as a missile when they would otherwise have survived. What this does for the doctrine of close infantry support of tanks in urban areas hasnt really been fully thought through.
