- M1A2 is going to be retired soon. The US Army just took delivery, of the M1A3 SEP3 last month. The US Marines, will start taking delivery of said tank, by the end of the year.
- The maximum speed of the Abrams is dictated ONLY by the durability of the tracks. It is actually capable of much higher speeds. I doubt the Armata can do 56 mph, as the russians say it can, without throwing links.

- I dont think America can engineer a new battle tank. Diversity destroyed America's ability to produce competent engineers. Boeing: " we are going to make sure 20% of our engineers have an average IQ of 85 because of the color of their skin" Yeah, america is done as a world power, this is our last decade. I am not even sure we will be able to project power on a global scale at the end of this decade. It's really sad what the woke people have done, they cant understand that competence and brilliance are real things and those attributes are antithetical to nebulous ideas of social justice.

- Well the M1 wins based on numbers deployed. But the Armata is a significant jump. They don't even talk about the onboard AI. It behaves similarly in principle to the Arleigh Burke destroyer as in being a networked brain to control fire and general battlefield awareness. The problem for russia is we dont fight tank battles anymore. They will get smoked from an attack aircraft 60 miles over the horizon.

- Compare the latest Abram with the latest German Leopard. Canada opted for the Leopard rather than the Abram built by the neighbouring country. That says something about the Leopard.
